Dr. Michael Krochak Pre-Dental Scholarship

NYC Dentist Dr. Michael Krochak, DMD, is proud to announce for the first time, a premiere scholarship award to college Juniors who are enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university and engaged in pre-dental studies. The Dr. Michael Krochak Pre-Dental Scholarship was founded to encourage young men & women to enter the field of dentistry, and help students meet the rising costs of their college tuition. Coinciding with the announcement of our pre-dental college scholarship, we have also launched our new website https://www.krochakpredentalscholarship.com.

In the US, pre-dental scholarships can be difficult to find. The rising costs of tuition at most Colleges and Universities become burdensome on many students who are engaged in pre-dental studies. The Dr. Michael Krochak Pre-Dental Scholarship aims to alleviate these barriers, while encouraging college students to apply to dental school.

Our first scholarship will be awarded in March of 2020. This scholarship was established by Dr. Michael Krochak, DMD, who’s strong fundamental belief in education inspired him to invest in the future of Dentistry. Below are the requirements to apply to our scholarship.

1.     Applicant must be a college junior enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university

2.     Applicant must be engaged in pre-dental studies, and have a 3.3 GPA or better

3.     One recipient will be awarded $1,000

Each applicant is asked to submit a copy of their school transcripts along with an essay of 750 words or less stating, “Why you would like to become a Dentist?”. Applications are due by December 1st of the student’s junior year, and a winner will be notified by March 15th of their Junior year.

So who is Dr. Michael Krochak, the man behind this dentistry scholarship for college students? Dr. Krochak has been practicing General Dentistry since 1984. He is an award-winning Dentist, having been named one of America’s top dentists in 2018 and 2019. A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Michael Krochak is committed to staying at the forefront of general and cosmetic dentistry by continually taking advanced education courses. It’s been 37 years since Dr. Krochak began practicing dentistry, and he’s happy to report that it’s still his passion to this day.
